My interest in photography sparked as a freshman in high school when I began shooting with my mother's Nikon FG 35mm. Since then I have been consistently engaged with progressing my skill set. Through a four month study with Rockport, ME based photographer Jim Nickelson I was able to produce a body of work examining the presence of man-made light on the landscapes around my home. Many of these can be seen in the Nightfall Project. Today, my primary interest lies in the landscape and how humans interact with it. Nevertheless, I am involved in all aspects and have worked as a photo editor for the Middlebury Campus Newspaper since my second semester at Middlebury.
